Your identity is what distinguishes you from others. It is an anomaly to be bothered or ashamed of your identity because you can’t be separated from it. Those who try to change their identity don’t understand that there’s no one person or combination of individual traits and characteristics that is superior to another.. moreover, there can be only one version of a person. Even if you try to copy or conform to another’s specs, you will never be that person neither will you be a different person. Each individual has a unique DNA. You can change the way you present or package yourself and that should be to accentuate your qualities, and not to hide yourself..

Never be ashamed of your identity, there’s no fault whatsoever with it. Some mix up identity with character and think that identity brings shame or honor. Having a unique identity is never a crime. As a matter of fact, a hate crime is attacking the identities of others. Never let anyone rob you of your freedom because if God thought everyone should be the same, He would have made it so from the beginning  neither did He include it as a commandment or requirements for righteousness. You can correct character but you can’t correct identity. Character is what you do with who you are.

Celebrate your uniqueness and appreciate your life.
