Getting your game going……..(Luke 9:62)

What are you doing with your life calling or dreams? Are your volunteering or serving on it? Do you get it now? Whatever we do at our convenience will always be at the back burner. It seems most of us are volunteers with what we call life goals yet we want the rewards of commitment. It is those who keep digging that find treasures of insights and delights.

Commitment says “I’m here come rain or shine. I’m on a mission not for a vacation”. Yes, you should have joy in what you do but that doesn’t mean you’ll enjoy every process of it.

It’s easy to say don’t be discouraged by setbacks but I know they can be disappointing. However, knowing you haven’t reached your goal is the reason you keep going. This is the true test of commitment. It’s about the both the journey and the goal. You stick with it. You may review strategies and even refine goals but you stay the course. Also, know that joy comes not only from taking pride in the outcomes but in every of your effort.

God has a plan for you. Your light will shine!!
