Breaking those holds..

Breaking those holds…🤔🤔(Matt 8:24)

Often the things that make us fret and anxious are those we ourselves have labeled as a threat. Many anxieties will be doused if we can review what we consider threats and see them for what they really are because many are just toothless bulldogs.

So we can really minimize fears and the psychological tears that follow them. What could make Jesus asleep in a storm is not carelessness or tiredness, He just didn’t consider the storm a threat.

You often have more capacity to handle some issues than you acknowledge or give yourself credit for. God has given us a position of power and soundness of mind. Rather than raise up a shield first consider what that ‘threat’ could come to. And then what?

However, if having looked at the issues and it’s really a stressor that can/will do harm as the Word advises, then as the righteous, if you foresee evil and hide yourself’.

The important point here is to really not fear everything or give things undue control over your life. There are some things you can look in the face and not really should not bother about and some others, you have no control over. Your peace of mind is crucial. Guide it.
