There’s nothing new under the sun doesn’t call off research or innovativeness but rather inspires it. It tells you that you have everything you need to build what you need, you only need to discover the resources and the processes.
In research, we are verifying assertion or hypothesis. That’s why innovations and inventions are not mysterious because they are discoverable and verifiable.
Another implication of this is the hope that there’s still so much more to be created to stimulate your curiosity and ingenuity. What can you make? What do you need? Has it been done before? Where can you find your inputs? What are the opportunities hidden around you? What are the possibilities? All these are in existence already.
God Himself says I will show you great and mighty things you don’t know of. What we call new is contributions to knowledge. In research, you need to look at the literature about your assumptions. What has anyone else done with or about it. Your new is always building on the old. It’s an addition, it may be revolutionary yet it will be a discovery, a build up or modification or reinvention of the old.
Everything you need to bring meaningful solutions exist. So keep digging because creation itself awaits your manifestation.
