✅What does it mean to have rights? It means you have agency over your own life. You are able to make decisions that favour your wellbeing. Agency is your own power, your control, your being in charge of your life. A strong sense of agency is associated with resilience, adaptability, and a positive outlook on life. It’s an important factor in mental health, as it helps you confront and navigate the complexities and challenges of life with confidence and a sense of empowerment.
✅You alone know what soothes you and you know what stresses you. No one else can see what is happening on the inside of you, the more reason why no one else can make decisions for you particularly when it comes to your mental health. Listen, there will always be consequences of choices no matter what you do. You are not a one size fits all. And remember progressive choices don’t always consist of things that are easy to do.
✅There will always be people that you will not please, there will always be things you can’t afford, there will always be things you can’t take along, there will be places you can’t go, there will be experiences you can’t undo. Therefore, if a choice costs you something, make sure it pays for your peace of mind and personal fulfillment.

✅Therefore, no matter the cultural, religious, economic, social or other factors that impact the choices you make for your wellbeing, one certain thing is that at the end of the day even God holds no one else accountable for the choices that you make.
✅Mental health is your right, exercise your agency as much as you can and don’t wait for anyone to give you permission to be happy.
Hope is here⚓
