“I always try to cheer myself up by singing when I get sad. Most of the time, it turns out that my voice is worse than my problems.”
Why is it that when we face a greater challenge, the previous one which had caused us much worries all of a sudden seems to have no significance to our lives anymore?
Has it ever occurred to you that what seems threatening is only so because we have given it all our attention?
When you say “I can’t take it no more”, does it mean the challenge got worse or your capacity to handle it diminished?
Now, let’s think about that challenge (issue, problem,…, whatever appears to be a threat to your peace) for a moment. Stare it right in the face and ask it (yes, talk to that situation);
“Can you really take me down?”
“Do you really want me to hand over my life to you?”
I hear you saying:
“No o. I don’t think so”
Can you see, just by looking at it in the face, you bring it down to a level that you can not only confront but clearly see that you can conquer.
This situation does not have you, you have it and you (not it) will decide what you do with it.
You have control, You will conquer! So SMILE.
On a lighter note, if your voice is worse than your problem, let me give you good advice, drop that problem and get your voice fixed!
There’s a more fulfilling life for you out there; reach for it!
