Everyone’s heart is unique . What appeals to one may not to others . You know what gives you joy, no one else can experience that on your behalf . And in the same way, no one else can bear your heart pains.
Therefore know that you are responsible for your joy. You can ask for guidance or opinions to help with making your own choices but no one else’s preference should be foisted upon you.
Be bold, take your chances. At least you can say “I tried it and found out, it wasn’t for me”.
