Silencing condemning thoughts…

Getting over condemning thoughts…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜… 1Jhn3:20

There are some things you can not cut away from your memory no matter how hard you try, that’s why it’s important to have the right perspective about them. When you have an experience that you are not happy with, be it your fault or not, distressing or condemning thoughts are likely to follow. However, when you seek God’s mercy over that issue, it becomes His business not yours. Therefore, if He has taken it out of your Hands, it is no longer yours even though your mind may keep playing out those events and the wrong emotions follow.

Take note that your mind doesn’t justify you, the truth does. And it doesn’t matter how many voices that amplify those thoughts, they can never cancel the fact that God has taken care of it. So neither your thoughts nor the emotions that follow are truth, they only bear witness to a past and acquitted experience. You are free. Arrest the condemnation by knowing that your feelings only follow your thoughts and when you really embrace the truth, your thoughts and feelings will follow suit.

Whoever the Son sets free, is free indeed! Go and enjoy your liberty in peace!
