Faith or fantasy……🤔(James 4:3)
Faith is not presumption nor assumptions. If you start what God had no hand in, you are on your own. Jumping ahead to do something you are not capable of is not faith. Jesus Himself said he who starts a building without considering if he has enough to complete is not wise.
A lot of people cover up indulgence under the guise of faith. Faith is obedience. It is responding to a prompt of God. Either what the Word says directly on an issue or what the Spirit leads you to do personally which still rests on a scriptural principle. God won’t fund your indulgence. You ask and don’t receive because you ask amiss. So, not all asking is of faith. Faith considers the will of God, that which honors God and not what caters to selfish ambitions.
